Hire Terms.

1.         Length of bunting strings & minimum quantity to hire

(a) Our traditional bunting strings are made in lengths of 10 metres, 11 metres and 12 metres (the length of strings depends on which design you hire); our ribbon bunting strings are made in lengths of 5 metres.   

(b) The minimum amount of bunting strings to hire: 

– Traditional Bunting – minimum 4 strings 

– Ribbon Bunting – no minimum

 

  1. Duration 

(a) The standard hire duration is 5-6 days.  

(b) The hire period is from the Wednesday or Thursday before your event to the following Monday (Tuesday, if it is a Bank Holiday).  The period of hire commences from when the courier delivers the bunting to you or when collected by you, to when it is recollected by the courier for return carriage, or when you return the bunting in person.

(c) Bunting can be hired during the week, or for a longer rental period, please contact us with your requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you.

(d) Bunting must be returned to us no later than the end of the agreed hire period. If for any reason, the hire period has to be extended; this will incur an additional hire fee and will require immediate email confirmation and payment. 

Please note:  if the hire period is extended at very short notice, and courier has already been booked, and therefore, has to be cancelled, this will incur an addition courier fee; as the courier will charge us.

 

  1. Use

(a) The bunting is to be used only at the location or venue agreed in advance with us. 

(b) The bunting will be your responsibility at all times, from delivery until returned to us, and you must ensure that the bunting is used and positioned safely and without risk to peoples’ health and safety. 

(c) Bunting care information is provided. Please ensure that the persons who install and take down the bunting have read and adhere to  the ‘bunting care information’.

(d) You shall keep the bunting in your possession and shall not lend it to any other person(s)/venue. 

 

 

  1.         Payment

(a) To secure a booking the deposit* must to be paid at the time of booking. 

 

(b) Payments can either be made online with credit or debit cards through PayPal’s secure system, or by bank transfer to our bank account:

(c) One calendar month before your event, we will invoice you by email for the full hire fee and the courier/delivery charges.  We must have receipt of payment no later than 14 days prior to your event. Bunting will not be despatched for delivery until the final payment has been processed.

(d)   Last minute bookings

Provided we have bunting available, bookings which are made within a month of your event, will require full payment, which includes bunting hire fee, delivery charges, plus the deposit, at the time of booking.

(d)  We reserve the right to cancel a booking if payment isn’t received within 7 days of the event. Deposit paid will not be refunded. 

 

  1. Refundable deposit 

Refundable deposits are required for all hire bookings, as an insurance retainer, provided the bunting is returned back to us on time, in good condition and only requires a standard launder.

 

Deduction from your deposit could be incurred due to: 

(a) Damaged/badly stained and/or missing items, you would be charged for this depending on how much bunting has been damaged, how much repair is needed or bunting which is missing on return.  We will confirm costs involved via email, and deduct this from your deposit. 

(b) Delays with bunting being returned, which could cause us a loss of hire income, and/or could effect another clients hire booking.

(c) Any missed collections, if our courier is not able to collect from you on the agreed date/time. 

(d) Cancellation charge –  should you need to cancel your booking at any time, it will result in the loss of your full deposit. All other bunting fees which have been paid will be fully refundable within 30 days. 

(e) Should we have to cancel a booking due to reasons beyond our control, we will do so in writing via email, returning all deposits or monies paid and will do our best to recommend another alternative bunting supplier. 

 

  1. Delivery and return of bunting

(a) Delivery and return will be through our next day courier service, APC.

(b) The delivery/collection window is any time between 9am – 5pm.  

(c)  The price will be quoted at the time of your booking enquiry and will be included on the final invoice. We only charge what the courier charges us. 

(d) Delivery is throughout the UK. Rates may be higher for Scotland/Highlands/Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and London. 

(e) Bunting can be delivered/collected directly to/from your home address, to your event/venue address (please ensure your venue has agreed to accept delivery/collection of bunting and there is someone to sign, receive and safely store the bunting, until it is required for decoration).  If you are not able to be at home for delivery/collection, we can deliver/collect to another address e.g. work address, neighbour, friend or family, provided they have agreed with you and there is someone for the driver to deliver to or collect from.  

(f) Please see clause 5. (c)   

  

  1. Unreturned/lost bunting

If any bunting is not returned or has been lost; we will invoice you for the full market value for immediate Bank Transfer payment.  

 

  1. Proof of posting 

Please obtain proof of posting when returning your bunting back in any way other than the use of our prearranged courier service. 

  1. Repairs and launder  
    1. If any bunting has been damaged, you must not repair or attempt to repair it; please notify us as soon as you are able to. 
    2. If the damage has been caused by carelessness or misuse, the repair will be at your expense. In any other case, the repair will be met by ourselves.
    3. If any bunting has become badly soiled and/or stained, you must not attempt to clean it either by hand, washing machine or use a tumble dryer. If we are unable to remove any bad marks or stains, and have to use specialist cleaning or replace any part of the bunting, the specialist cleaning fee and/or repair will be at your expense.

 

  1. Privacy policy 

We do not disclose clients’ information to third parties, other than when booking details are processed as part of the booking fulfilment.

Purchase Terms.

General 

By placing your order with us you are accepting these T&Cs and the contract between us will be governed by UK Law. Your statutory rights are not affected. 

Product descriptions and images 

Every care has been taken to describe and portray items accurately using technology, but slight variations in actual products may occur. If colour/shade is very important, please ask for a sample fabric swatch. If we run out of a specific fabric we may substitute one of a similar colour/quality, but always ensuring that the overall effect is maintained. We cannot guarantee that products remain the same and will only have a certain amount of stock for designs.  We also cannot perfectly match fabric colours with specific pantone colours, which are used for printing.  Please note sizes are approximate. 

Your order

A contract between you and us for the sale of our online ‘shop’ products will only exist once your order has been accepted and processed., or in the case of ‘pick & mix colour’ bunting, your order has been accepted by sending an email to confirm that we are able to fulfil the order. If at any time, we are unable to fulfil the order we will let you know quickly and offer a full refund of monies.

Prices

We do not charge VAT so our prices do not include VAT

Delivery

Delivery times are stated as estimates only.   We aim to make up orders within 5-10 days, though bespoke/large quantity orders may take longer, in which case we will advise you of the timeline. 

If you need an item by a specific date, we will do our best to meet it. 

We use Royal Mail First Class with proof of posting (Large Letter or Small Parcel).  Sometimes, due to the size/weight of an order, we may use a next day courier, if the cost of delivery is cheaper, but will always advise you of this. 

Delivery Charges

Order value up to £15.00 @ £2.99

Order value up to £35.00 @ £5.50

Order value up to £70.00 @ £8.50

Order value up to £100 @ £10.50

Larger bespoke orders will be quoted a price prior to order confirmation. 

Delivery abroad is also available, please contact us for delivery charges, according to weight and size of package. Please note that any local customs or import duties will be your responsibility. 

Privacy Policy

Your information is used only to process your order. We do not pass on any information to 3rd parties. 

Returns Policy

We are confident you will love your bunting; but if there is a problem, please contact us immediately so that we can sort it out. Should you wish to return your bunting and be refunded, this must be within 14 days of receipt of the order. Returned goods must be unused and in perfect condition for resale, in order to receive a full refund or exchange. 

Bespoke and Pick & Mix Colour Bunting is non-refundable. After 28 days from receipt of the purchase, Tickety Boo Bunting does not accept responsibility for unwanted items.

When returning goods on which you have received a discount or offer, that discount or offer will no longer apply if you fall below the discount or offer threshold and the refund will be adjusted accordingly. 

You are responsible for arranging returns at your cost, and we suggest you use Royal Mail’s Post Office service, and obtain a proof of postage. We cannot accept responsibility for packages lost in the post.
